We enjoyed an excellent, expertly guided wine tasting at the Lieselehof winery and learned a great deal about organic and PIWI wines, as well as conventional viticulture. The in-depth explanations provided by the owner and author of specialist books, Werner Morandell, were particularly impressive.

I have become a regular visitor at the Lieselehof property since 2013. Discovered the property after great reviews on other sites. The owners are extremely friendly. They know a lot about wine and are very knowledgeable about tourism in Sud Tyrol. The wines that they make are incredible, fairly priced, and the owner has written a book on wine making.

A beautifully landscaped farm with very nice apartments on site. In daylight, there's a lovely view of the valley. We also booked the wine tasting and felt very well taken care of; every question was answered. Our tour guide, Julian, the winemaker's son, was incredibly friendly and funny, so we all had a great time!

We had a very informative tour and wine tasting with junior manager Julian. The farm is beautiful, surrounded by greenery; you can tell it's run with love, and you can taste that in the natural wines. We therefore picked up a fine selection of the drops from the small shop. I've instantly become a fan of natural wine!!!! In this sense - high performance!

A wonderful place. We received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable. Our apartment was fantastic, unfortunately only for the weekend, but I will definitely come back and stay longer next time. Not to mention the excellent wine selection; the Gewürztraminer was my highlight 😀 simply lovely....

The Lieselehof winery is one of these special ones. The vineyard museum is probably unique in this form. Piwi grape varieties are strongly integrated. The two juniors are very committed. The wine tasting with one of them was very informative. Brut sparkling wine is in a class of its own. Likewise the wines, whether vino del passo, julian orange or Feldherr. And then the Passiti.

An old organic winery in Kaltern, with lovely holiday apartments and friendly owners. During the wine tasting, we learned a lot about the winemaking process and production.

We spontaneously stopped at the Lieselehof winery for a wine tasting while passing through and were very warmly welcomed by a member of staff. We were able to taste some special wines in the refreshingly cool cellar, despite the hot summer temperatures outside. The employee explained some of the special wines to us and let us taste sparkling wine and still wine. We found the Brut Junior Rosé delicious. The Vino del Passo was also very distinctive in its aromas and fragrance – however, we found the prices very high compared to other wineries in the area. We can only review the winery, not the accommodation or anything similar.

Beautiful farm in a fantastic location with stunning views. A family-run business with its own small wine production. The wines are made with love, and if you have a special occasion, I can recommend their sparkling wine, which makes a very elegant impression with its unique label design.

We would like to thank the Family Werner Morandell for the privilege to study, learn and enjoy their home and vineyards. Lieselehof Wine Museum is more of a living library of the history of grapes. Venturing into the South Tyrolean land is inspiring as it is awesome. To walk the lands of the Romans and to bear witness to the over 350 vines planted and thriving on this hillside nestled in the Dolomites is supernatural. Invited into this journey the descriptions, labeling and context of the grapes gives you a view into the past, present and future that is truly an exclusive experience.
